Naomi Campbell plans to launch Fashion for Relief shows in February 2015 to help raise funds to combat Ebola virus disease. The model told Page Six that she wanted to hold star-studded shows during the upcoming New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week.
Naomi told the site of the spread of the disease, "I'm scared." She said she had a house in Kenya and worked with three orphanages there. Her reason to launch the benefit fashion shows is because "people don't have a clear idea about what Ebola is." She hoped her shows could help Ebola victims and raise awareness about the disease.
Naomi added that as a black woman, she felt responsible to battle the Ebola crisis. She said, "Ebola does not discriminate."
The model previously launched Fashion for Relief shows to charity efforts in Japan and Haiti. The participants included Kate Moss, Agyness Deyn, Rosario Dawson, Karolina Kurkova, Jane Fonda and Geri Halliwell.

The statement continued, "Our professionals, the doctors and nurses in the unit, as well as the entire Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas community, are also grieving his passing. We have offered the family our support and condolences at this difficult time."
According to Guardian, Thomas traveled from Liberia to the U.S. on September 19 to meet his girlfriend. He then fell ill and was admitted to hospital two days after his condition worsened. He was admitted and placed in isolation room of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital on September 28.
