Delta Goodrem laughs off Marlon Wayans' complaint on her apparent lack of dance skills in his recent Instagram post. The pair made headlines after Wayans posted a selfie of him when attending Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z's concert in Pasadena on Sunday, August 3.
The comedian who apparently did not recognize the "Born to Try" singer can be seen posing for the selfie beside the pop star and judge on Australia's "The Voice". "Man I got the most UNRHYTHMIC WHITE WOMAN dancing next to me at the jay and bay concert... This b***h dancing to AC/DC," he captioned the snap.
Goodrem then poked fun at herself by sharing a clip of an awkward dance by Julia Louis-Dreyfus' character on "Seinfeld". The 29-year-old singer wrote, "Had a blast last night." Wayans later added, "All those trippin and Delta is fine." He also replied to a tweet about the news story, commenting, "She did dance slightly better than that though."
While many fans found the story funny, some others branded Wayans racist for his choice of words. However, Wayans said it was a joke and he would not apologize. "I ain't apologizing for a joke," he tweeted, before adding, "I love that all these people calling me racist cuz I stated a fact. She can't dance. Apparently neither can u. Now f**k outta here."
