AceShowbiz - Will Ferrell's Ron Burgundy and Robin Thicke have joined forces for a "Ride Like the Wind" cover that will be included in the soundtrack of "Anchorman: The Legend Continues". The R&B singer handles most of the vocal work, while the fictional news anchor provides funny comments to the lines.

As a response to Thicke singing, "I was born the son of a lawless man," Burgundy asks, "You mean Alan Thicke?" The legendary newsman also delivers solo flute, introducing it with, "Let me hit you with this. Three feet of polished nickel, valves and my sweet breath."

The cover as well as the original version of the song will be featured in the "Anchorman 2" soundtrack that will be available in stores on December 17. Rumor has it, Burgundy and Thicke may release a video for the disco anthem.

The "Anchorman" sequel is scheduled to open wide in theaters across the nation on December 18. Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, James Marsden, Christina Applegate and Kristen Wiig are among other stars supporting the comedy movie.
