'The Avengers' leads the movie nomination list with five nods, while 'The Hunger Games' and 'The Amazing Spider-Man' follow with three each.

AceShowbiz - The most favorite movies vying for coveted blimps at the upcoming Nickelodeon's 26th annual Kids' Choice Awards have just been announced. "The Avengers", "The Hunger Games" and "The Amazing Spider-Man" dominate the pack. The former gets five nods, while the latter two receive three each.
"Avengers" is competing for Favorite Movie along with "Hunger Games", "Spider-Man" and "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days". Thor depicter Chris Hemsworth and Iron Man Robert Downey Jr. are both nominated for Favorite Male Buttkicker, facing off Andrew Garfield ("Spider-Man") and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson ("Journey 2: The Mysterious Island").
Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow depicter Scarlett Johansson, meanwhile, is vying for Favorite Actress and Favorite Female Buttkicker. In the former category, she is going head-to-head with "Vanessa Hudgens ("Journey 2"), Lawrence ("Hunger Games"), and "Kristen Stewart ("The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part II").
Johansson meets Lawrence and Stewart again in the latter category, in addition to fighting off Anne Hathaway ("The Dark Knight Rises"). This time around, Stewart is nominated for her portrayal as the female lead in "Snow White and the Huntsman".
"The Avengers" adds one more nomination as Tom Hiddleston is listed as a contender for Favorite Villain in combined TV and movie fields, battling Reed Alexander ("iCarly"), Simon Cowell ("The X Factor (US)") and Julia Roberts ("Mirror Mirror").
In Favorite Male Actor, Garfield has to beat "Johnny Depp ("Dark Shadows"), "Zachary Gordon ("Wimpy Kid: Dog Days"), and "Will Smith ("Men in Black 3"). In the animated field, meanwhile, "Brave", "Ice Age: Continental Drift", "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" and "Wreck-It Ralph" are in the running for Favorite Animated Movie.
Taylor Swift adds another nod to her multiple music nominations by becoming a contender for best voice cast for her role in "The Lorax". She's facing off "Chris Rock ("Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted"), "Adam Sandler ("Hotel Transylvania"), and "Ben Stiller ("Madagascar 3).
Also honoring the best in TV, music and sports and other pop categories, the awards show will be held on March 23 live from the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California. "Transformers" star Josh Duhamel, will serve as the host. Voting in the 22 categories begins on Thursday, February 14, 2013 on KCAs official website.
