Blake Shelton and The Band Perry Added to 2012 Grammy Awards

Blake and the Perry siblings are scheduled to make a special performance with this year's Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Glen Campbell.

AceShowbiz - More musical guests for the upcoming 54th Annual Grammy Award have been revealed. They are two country music acts Blake Shelton and The Band Perry. Both are set to join Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and five-time Grammy winner, Glen Campbell, for a special performance.

This year, Blake is nominated for two awards, Best Country Solo Performance for his single "Honey Bee" and Best Country Album for his CD "Red River Blue". As for the Perry trio, they receive a nod for Best New Artist along with Nicki Minaj, Bon Iver, J. Cole and Skrillex.

2012 Grammy Awards will be held on February 12 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles with LL Cool J as a host. Minaj, Rihanna, Coldplay, Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters, Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift and Jason Aldean have been confirmed to perform.

Joining Glen as recipients for its Special Merit Awards are Steve Jobs (Trustees Award), Diana Ross, George Jones & The Allman Brothers Band (Lifetime Achievement Award), and McCartney (MusiCares Person of the Year) among other influential figures.
