Ryan Phillippe and Amanda Seyfried apparently are not meant to be. Seven months after they started embarking on a relationship, the couple has split for the second time. They once broke up in February.
"It was mutual. They were never fully committed," a source told Us Magazine, adding "They were always on and off. They were always seeing other people." The split did not leave a messy trace, according to the source. "There's no bad blood. They're cool," the so-called pal added.
Phillipe and Seyfried met at Kate Hudson's Halloween Party in October 2010. When reports surfaced in March that Phillipe had fathered ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp's baby, Seyfried stood by him. Seyfried herself quit a three-year relationship with Dominic Cooper last year.
Phillipe was seen spending some quality time with ex-wife Reese Witherspoon on Saturday, May 28 to cheer on their son Deacon during his football game in the Brentwood neighborhood of L.A. Witherspoon has moved on from their relationship with Jim Toth.
