Before going inside the venue, the likes of Matthew Morrison and Emily Deschanel talked to the press about who should be the new judge of 'American Idol'.

Familiar faces seen on FOX shows gathered at FOX 2010 Summer TCA All-Star Party on Monday, August 2 in Santa Monica, California at Pacific Park. The stars of "Glee" such as Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Mark Salling blended with stars of other shows such as David Boreanaz of "Bones" and Lisa Edelstein of "House M.D."

Just like in the press conference itself, these stars keep talking to the reporters. Extra TV made the effort to ask Matthew Morrison who he would like to see as the new "American Idol" judge. "I would love to watch just to see what Steven Tyler would have to say," he said, adding about Jennifer Lopez, "I think she would add a lot of warmth to the show."

Emily Deschanel also commented on the hot issue, saying that Lopez would be "amazing" although she thought the old panel "had something going that worked". Judge of "So You Think You Can Dance" Mia Michaels also sounded off similar opinion. "I loved 'Idol' the way it was," she quipped.

Meanwhile, Boreanaz preferred to talk about "Bones" and revealed more about the plan to have "Jersey Shore" star The Situation appearing in an episode. He said to EW, Deschanel's Brennan will "understand them because she considers [guidos] a tribe." Deschanel chimed in, "Brennan anthropologically studies them and knows the lingo and the behavior. [She's] down with the whole guido stuff."

Despite the exposure of the press on the red carpet, the stars also enjoyed the party inside. "I would tell you I had a great time, but you'll most likely see for yourself on youtube tomorrow," Chris Colfer testified on his Twitter.
