Movie

The Great Pyramid of Giza has been stolen and being replaced by an inflatable replica, forcing countries to protect their famous landmarks as people are questioning who is behind the despicable act.

AceShowbiz - Universal Pictures has released the first teaser trailer of their upcoming animation "Despicable Me" via Yahoo! Movies. Though it doesn't really give out any clue on the film's plot as well as a look at the main character, it does show that one world's famous landmark, the Great Pyramid of Giza, has been stolen and ignites great panic around the globe.

This Chris Renaud and Pierre Coffin-directed family movie centers its story on a deplorable man, Gru. Living inside his black house which sits in a happy suburban neighborhood surrounded by white picket fences with flowering rose bushes, Gru plans the biggest heist in the history of the world as he aims to steal the moon.

Finding delights in all things wicked and armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way. But, one day, he encounters three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad. And so, the world's greatest villain has just met his greatest challenge.

"Despicable Me" features the voice talent of Steve Carell as Gru. He is joined by Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Danny McBride, Will Arnett, Julie Andrews and Kristen Wiig. July 9, 2010 will be the date this animation movie hits U.S. theaters.
