Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California has become the host of "Monsters vs. Aliens" Los Angeles premiere on Sunday morning, March 22. Celebrating the special screening event, DreamWorks Animation greeted the celebrities with a unique blue carpet and a man-high statue of B.O.B., one of the monsters in the movie.

Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, Kiefer Sutherland, Rainn Wilson, Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler were among the film's voice talents attending the premiere. Joining them on the blue carpet were producer Lisa Stewart and directors, Rob Letterman and Conrad Vernon.

Witherspoon, who happened to turn 33 years old on the same day of the event, was seen getting her birthday celebrated by blowing up candles on her "Monsters vs. Aliens" birthday cake. On the special occasion, the actress who voiced Ginormica was dressed in a Rodarte Fall 2009 silver and green dress with gray and yellow heels.

Comedians Jack Black and Jonah Hill were also present for the premiere. Additionally, other celebrity guests coming included Josh Hutcherson, Angie Harmon, Harland Williams, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Judd Apatow and Sumner Redstone.
