Jonas Brothers receive honor as 'T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist', while Chris Brown is named as 'Artist of the Year' and 'Favorite Male Artist' in Pop/Rock Music group.

AceShowbiz - More from the stage of the 36th annual American Music Awards, Jonas Brothers have been named as "T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist". They win over such contenders as Colbie Caillat, Flo Rida, Paramore, and The-Dream.

Meanwhile Kanye West, and Alicia Keys have added another AMAs' trophy to their pockets. Kanye receives a prize for "Favorite Male Artist" in Rap/Hip-Hop Music and Alicia puts her 2007 third studio effort "As I Am" on top as her LP wins "Favorite Album" in Soul/Rhythm & Blues Music.

Furthermore, North Carolina-based band DAUGHTRY are announced as "Favorite Band, Group or Duo" in Pop/Rock Music beating down Coldplay and Eagles. In addition, Chris Brown takes home two prizes for "Favorite Male Artist" in Pop/Rock Music and "Artist of the Year".

In Pop/Rock Music category, Carrie Underwood's "Carnival Ride" wins "Favorite Album" beating down Garth Brooks' "The Ultimate Hits" and Rascal Flatts' "Still Feels Good". Enrique Iglesias is honored "Favorite Artist" in Latin Music group and "Alvin and the Chipmunks" theme song LP wins "Favorite Soundrack Album".
