AceShowbiz - The Jonas Brothers, known for hits like "Year 3000" and "Burnin' Up," are joining forces with Disney once again to star in a Christmas movie. The film, titled "Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie," will follow the brothers as they "face a series of escalating obstacles as they struggle to make it from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families."

Directed by Oscar winner Jessica Yu ("Quiz Lady" and "This Is Us"), the movie is a continuation of the Jonas Brothers' long history with the Mouse House. The pop rock trio released their second album on Hollywood Records, a Disney-owned label, and starred in the original movies "Camp Rock" and its sequel. They also led their own Disney Channel series titled "Jonas."

The Jonas Brothers announced the upcoming movie with a cheeky video spoofing the famous doorstop scene from "Love Actually." Holding handwritten signs, they first announce themselves, "Hi, we're the Jonas Brothers," prompting Nick to reprimand Joe for speaking out loud.

The second take is more successful, with the brothers silently revealing, "Sorry to bother you. But we're making a Christmas movie. Coming out this holiday season. Only on Disney+."

The movie will feature original music written and executive produced by Grammy-nominated songwriter Justin Tranter. The Jonas Brothers, along with Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman, and Scott Morgan, will serve as producers.

The Jonas Brothers' return to Disney for a Christmas movie marks a nostalgic moment for fans who grew up with their music and Disney Channel shows. The trio has continued to release music and tour, celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2025.
