The Secret Life of the American Teenager Episode 5.12 Hedy's Happy Holiday House

It's Christmas Eve and Ricky tells Amy about his holiday tradition as a kid of breaking into Hedy's Happy Holiday House. Hedy's is a toy shop that Ricky and his fellow foster care friends would sneak into through an open bathroom window every Christmas Eve. The store owner purposely left the window open to give kids without families a place to go on Christmas. Ricky, Amy & John go to Hedy's and find the bathroom window is still unlocked so they sneak in and are amazed by the magical quality of the store. Ethan dressed as Santa and Kathy join them at Hedy's.

Grace stays by Jack's side at the hospital because he's in a coma from the pimp beating him up. Clementine stops by the hospital with a bell hoping that somewhere an angel will get her wings and Jack will wake up. Omar and Adrian are supposed to spend Christmas Eve with his family, but Clementine convinces them all to join her at Hedy's. Grace, Adrian, Omar & Clementine attempt to break an unconscious Jack out of the hospital to bring him to Hedy's, but they get stopped by a young police officer who later asks Clementine out.

Ethan calls Ben to help override Hedy's security to get Kathy in because she's 9 months pregnant and can't climb through the window, but Chloe (Ben's new sister) tells them about a side entrance. Leo encourages Ben and Chloe to join everyone at Hedy's. Madison and Lauren show up at Hedy's as well, but Kathy suddenly goes into labor. Anne accidentally shows up at George's house to celebrate Christmas on the wrong night only to find George and Kathleen in some sexy Christmas outfits.

Omar gets a donkey and they walk Kathy to the hospital atop the donkey with Ethan dressed as Santa pulling it. Leo and Camille surprise Chloe with a kitten and Ben is surprised with a new Mercedes convertible. Then Leo and Camille surprise Henry and Alice with new cars as well. Anne, George, Kathleen and Mimsy have their own holiday dance party. A Christmas miracle occurs and Jack finally wakes up from his coma. Kathy delivers her baby and gives the baby to her adoptive parents, Jonathan and Sonya. Kathy learns that Jonathan's family owns Hedy's Toy Shop and after his grandma Hedy passed away Jonathan kept the tradition going of leaving the window open for disenfranchised kids to have somewhere to go for Christmas. Jonathan and Sonya name the new baby Hedy.
