Jodi is a pregnant woman who can't form new memories after having been in a car accident. This has been an incredible strain on her husband, Zach, who must keep reminding her that they are having a baby. Sadly, Zach plans to take the child and leave Jodi right after the birth. As you may have guessed, this situation leads to a wave of debates between the docs of Seaside Health and Wellness.

Violet asked Sheldon to take Zach on as a patient after she got suspended. Now she thinks he advised the guy to leave his wife. Obviously, Sheldon did no such thing. But Violet can't help but get involved in the case, even though she's not allowed. She's also dealing with all the anger Pete is still throwing her way. As far as Zach, Violet asks Addison to have a chat with him. It doesn't go well.

Jodi is rushed to the hospital. She's scared because she doesn't know what's happening to her. Addison has to keep telling her over and over that she's having a baby. Violet tries to calm her, but what she really needs is her husband. Addison tries to convince Zach to come into the room, but he can't do it.

Jodi's labor is intense. Addison needs her to calm down and push. But the patient is just so scared and confused. She screams for Zach, who comes into the room just in time. He calms Jodi by telling her the story of how they first met. It's one of the things she'll always remember. A short time later, they have a brand new baby boy. Zach tells Addison that he loves Jodi and he'll stay until he can't.

Sheldon and Violet get into another argument about Jodi and Zach. Then Violet goes off on Pete for not being on her side. After Pete leaves, Violet confesses that it feels like her hubby hates her. Then Sheldon confesses that he actually thought it was good that she was there for Jodi when Zach wasn't. He also tells Pete to stop driving his wife away. Later, Pete mentions to Violet that he likes her hair. It's not much, but it's a start.

Cooper is still wrapping his arms around the fact that he has a son. His name is Mason. Coop has no doubt that he's the lad's dad. The kid even dips his fries in his strawberry shake, just like his pop. It's a habit that drives Charlotte bananas. She's also a little crazed because her hubby refuses to take a paternity test.

Charlotte believes Mason's mom, Erica, is a gold digger looking to score some quick cash from a vulnerable doctor. So she gives the lady what she thinks she wants. Charlotte hands Erica a check for $20,000. The money's hers as long as she stays away from them. Yeah, that's not gonna happen.

Erica doesn't want to be paid off. She makes this very clear to Cooper, who was completely clueless about the check. This leads to a big blow up with Charlotte, who goes ahead and does her own paternity test. As it turns out, Cooper was right. Mason is definitely his son.

Addison worries Sam may leave her if she gets hormonally out of whack from fertility drugs. Jake becomes a sounding board for both of them. Sam asks him for the 411 about women on fertility drugs. What he says obviously has Sam a bit on edge. Then Addison wants a man's point of view on her situation even though she doesn't know Jake very well.

Jake gives Addison the capsule summary of his life. He has three sisters and has only ever been in love once. Jake also says he's always known Sam to be a stand-up guy. He adds that her own instincts are probably way better than any thoughts he could throw her way. Addy fesses up to Sam that she's worried he'll leave her if she has a baby. Guess time will tell if that'll ever happen.
