After a ski accident in Colorado, Miley ends up in the hospital and while unconcious she overhears Oliver say "I love you" to her. Then, she attempts to keep it a secret, but when Lilly informed her she was going to announce her love to him Miley revealed the secret. She plots to "get back" at Oliver by making Lilly kiss another guy, but Oliver interrupts and says he loves Lilly. Later he said that in the hospital he was truly practicing saying "I love you" to Lilly.
