While trying to woo her back, Shirley Schmidt's ex-husband, Ivan Tiggs (Tom Selleck), wants her to be his 'best man' at his upcoming wedding with an annoyingly perky woman. Meanwhile, Paul Lewiston's estranged daughter, Rachel, who he claims blindly stole from him to feed her drug and alcohol habits, comes back into his life after seven years.
