Chris Brown Doing a Very Good Job, Judge Praises

The 'With You' singer has made Court Judge Patricia Schnegg impressed after he participated and never missed his community work as part of his sentence for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

A judge has commended disgraced R&B star Chris Brown's efforts to fulfill the terms of his sentence for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg requested a hearing with the singer and his attorney in a Los Angeles courtroom to check on the community work she sentenced him to carry out in 2009.

Thursday's, February 18 progress hearing lasted less then two minutes and concluded with the judge telling the 20-year-old, "It looks like you are doing really, really well." In court, Schnegg revealed Brown had worked off 32 of the 180 days of hard labor he had been ordered to carry out as part of his sentencing for lashing out at "Umbrella" singer Rihanna during a row in February 2009, and the singer had also completed a third of the domestic violence classes he was told to take.

Impressed Schnegg said, "You haven't missed one. You are participating and doing a very good job."
