The 'Little Mermaid' actress and her 'Color Purple' co-star glam up as they walk the red carpet at the star-studded celebration of Black excellence in Los Angeles.

Leading the charge were Halle Bailey, Andra Day, and Taraji P. Henson, who exuded glamour in their resplendent ensembles.

Bailey, nominated for lead and supporting actress for "The Little Mermaid" and "The Color Purple", respectively, radiated with a slinky green gown adorned with rose petal and eye-catching pleating. She was joined by her partner DDG and cradled their newborn son, Halo.

Day, known for her Oscar-nominated portrayal of Billie Holiday, evoked a retro chic vibe in an electric blue split gown complemented by opera gloves and a feathered cape.

Henson, nominated for "The Color Purple," cut a striking figure in a yellow frock, its bodice adorned with sparkly flower petal embellishments and a cinched waistline that accentuated her taut midriff.

Other notable arrivals included Jonathan Majors, accompanied by girlfriend Meagan Good; Usher, recipient of the President's Award, with wife Jennifer Goicoechea; and Idris Elba with wife Sabrina, who became a frontrunner for the James Bond mantle after Daniel Craig left.

Naturi Noughton draped her hourglass frame in a deep gold frock while John Boyega channeled a detective aesthetic in oversized pinstripes. Octavia Spencer added a touch of jazz to corporate style in a sparkly trouser suit.

Danielle Brooks, another "The Color Purple" nominee, opted for a simple black gown adorned with glittering bangles. Sheryl Lee Ralph of "Abbott Elementary" embraced mermaid chic in a fluttering green mesh number while June Ambrose enveloped her willowy figure in a voluminous floral gown.

Eva Marcille sported a cutoff top that emphasized her lithe frame, and MC Lyte cut a leggy figure in an asymmetrical wine-colored gown. Vivica A. Fox defied time in a sheer floral trouser suit that accentuated her ample endowments.

Caroline Wanga exuded opulence in a beaded gown, and Misty Copeland showcased her dancer's legs in high-waisted slacks. Amanda Gorman, known for her poetic brilliance, donned a sequined frock.

The award ceremony welcomed a host of other renowned actors, musicians, and activists, including Sterling K. Brown, Keke Palmer, Kerry Washington, and Amanda Gorman, who received the Chairman's Award.
