July 14, 2008 11:07:48Singer Usher seems keen to contribute himself for the U.S. presidential campaign and is set to show his support on his preferred candidate Barack Obama by planning to sing at the Democratic Convention. According to his manager, Benny Medina, the R 'n' B singer has been approached by the Democratic parties to perform at the convention, which is scheduled to be held on August 8 in Denver, Colorado.
Confirming the news to the press, Benny said, "There've been offers to do things in and around the convention and we are just looking to see which one will be the most productive." He then also added the reason Usher's is willing to accept the request is because the singer is a "huge Barack supporter."

R. Kelly's "Same Girl" featuring Usher has created a surge of anticipation when the audio leaked on Internet few months ago. The song is now officially opened for listening plus viewing through a video directed by Little X (Destiny's Child, Ghostface Killah, Xzibit).
If anybody thought that the two will put up their ego when collaboration taking a way, they are wrong. "There was no ego when they got together," said Little X in an interview with MTV. It's been quite sometimes since we last reported that Usher is engaged to his stylist. By Wednesday March 28th, a publicist for the R&B singer, Simone Smalls, did confirm to MTV that Usher is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, stylist Tameka Foster.

Trouble has found Usher. The R&B singer has been sentenced to community service and hit with a fine after being convicted of speeding.
The Grammy-winning singer, pulled over by traffic police after being caught driving at 103 mph in Georgia on July 4 last year, appeared in Bartow County court Tuesday January 16th to face the charge as a result of the incident. Bartow County Court Probate Judge Mitchell Scoggins ordered Usher to perform 20 hours of community service and fined him $425.
