August 04, 2009 01:08:11Miley Cyrus has been tapped to make a live performance at 2009 Teen Choice Awards. The "Hannah Montana" star is plotted to deliver her brand new song "Party in the USA" at the annual event airing Monday, August 10 at 8:00 -10:00 PM ET/PT on FOX.
While Miley is set to sing, the cast of "Twilight" series Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed and Kellan Lutz are scheduled to make appearances at the awards show. They will be joined by actors and actresses from FOX's comedy series "Glee"; Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Jenna Ushkowitz, Chris Colfer, Amber Riley and Kevin McHale.

A group of young names cheerfully brought home a prize each on March 10, 2007 as the Young Artists Foundation finally revealed the recipients for its Young Artist Awards on the day at Empire Ballroom at the Sportsman's Lodge Hotel in Studio City, California.
For film feature categories, Emma Roberts of "Aquamarine" and Tristan Lake Leabu of "Superman Returns" delightfully received the title of Best Supporting Young Actress and Actor, respectively with Logan Lerman and Keke Palmer taking honors in the leading acting slot, the former for his role in "Hoot" while the latter one for hers in "Akeelah and the Bee."

In leading acting categories for film feature, names like Cameron Bright and Alex Neuberger, both of "Running Scared", and Thomas Sangster of "Nanny McPhee" are all mentioned as the best young actor contenders while Dakota Fanning of "Charlotte's Web", Keke Palmer of "Akeelah and the Bee", and Sara Paxton of "Aquamarine" will compete against each other in opposite category.

The awards season in film industry does still continues even though it has reached its peak on the Oscar ceremony last month as the American National Association for the Advancement of Colored People took its turn to unveil the recipients of its Image Awards on Friday, March 2 2007 at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium.
Recognizing best achievements in filmmaking, the organization eventually handed out the top honor of best picture to "The Pursuit of Happyness" while naming Forest Whitaker of "The Last King of Scotland" and Keke Palmer of "Akeelah and the Bee" the best actor and actress, respectively.

Consistent in celebrating the achievements of African-Americans in feature, independent, and television films since 2000, the Foundation For The Advancement Of African-Americans In Film's has delightfully picked up titles and names as the honorees of its Black Reel Awards yesterday, February 7, 2007.
Top scorer was musical drama "Dreamgirls" as it successfully swept six prizes altogether, notably the Best Film title with its star, Jennifer Hudson, taking home two of them for winning the Best Supporting Actress and Best Breakthrough Performance categories. Other three were awards for Best Original Score, Best Original Soundtrack, and Best Song for "And I'm Telling You."

Known as the pioneer in recognizing people of color in film, television, music, and literature, the American National Association for the Advancement of Colored People revealed yesterday, January 9, names and titles included in the nominations for this year's NAACP Image Awards.
Scoring most nods were both musical drama "Dreamgirls" and comedy series "Everybody Hates Chris" as each amazingly landed eight nominations, notably that in the category of Outstanding Motion Picture for the former and that of Outstanding Comedy Series for the latter.
Ed Harris and Keke Palmer Get Sanitized by the "Cleaner"

Accompanying Samuel L. Jackson in the cast lineup, Ed Harris and Keke Palmer have both signed on to take part in "Cleaner", a collaborative thriller project of Millennium Films and Anonymous Content.
Harris is said to be billed playing a police detective while Palmer, fresh from "Akeelah and the Bee", will be Jackson's daughter. The film itself sees Jackson as a man who specializes in cleaning crime scenes and later is caught in a murder cover-up.
