The 'Boys Over Flowers' actor and the 'Hwayugi' actress' agencies confirm the two are in a relationship after they were reportedly spotted on a date.

AceShowbiz - Another celebrity couple has been revealed in 2018. Kim Bum and Oh Yeon Seo are confirmed in a relationship after a news report emerged that the two were recently spotted on a date at a restaurant in the affluent Cheongdam-dong district in Gangnam, Seoul.

Both stars' agencies quickly confirmed the news. Oh Yeon Seo's label Cell Trion Entertainment said in a statement, "It's true that Oh Yeon Seo and Kim Bum are dating. They got to know each other through gatherings with various acquaintances. Oh Yeon Seo began her relationship with Kim Bum shortly after the end of her drama tvN's 'Hwayugi', earlier this month. Please watch over them warmly, as they have recently started their relationship."

Kim Bum's agency Starship Entertainment released a similar statement, saying that they naturally became close after meeting at a gathering with close mutual friends. They added, "They are in the beginning stages of their relationship."

Kim Bum previously dated his "Goddess of Fire" co-star Moon Geun Young. Their relationship was revealed in late 2013, but they broke up just after seven months together. Their agencies said when confirming their split in May 2014, "They did break up not too long ago but have decided to remain good friends and supportive colleagues."

Kim Bum is best known for his role as So Yi Jung on 2009's hit drama series "Boys Over Flowers". He was diagnosed with degenerative arthritis in 2012 due to the dramatic weight-loss he experienced after training for his role on JTBC's drama "Padam Padam". He had a supporting role on "That Winter, The Wind Blows" which starred Jo In Sung and Song Hye Kyo, and also starred on "Mrs. Cop 2".

As for Oh Yeon Seo, she debuted as a member of girl group LUV in 2002, but the group disbanded after only six months due to their low popularity. The 30-year-old star then switched to acting and made her debut appearance on 2003's drama "Sharp". She landed her first lead role on "Here Comes Mr. Oh" and her popularity soared after she starred on 2014's "Jang Bo-ri is Here!".

She also starred on 2017's historical drama remake of 2001's box office hit "My Sassy Girl" alongside Joo Won, but the TV series received lukewarm response. She went on being cast in the film adaptation of "Cheese in the Trap" which was released earlier this month in South Korea, in addition to starring on fantasy comedy drama series "Hwayugi" a.k.a. "A Korean Odyssey".
