Lee Min Ho entered the Korea Army Training Center located in Nonsan on Thursday, March 15. He will receive four weeks of training and then return to his regular public service duty.

On the day the Hallyu star entered the military training center, fans had been gathering outside the camp. He was seen rolling down his car's window and waving to the fans, who then were following behind him as they made his way into the training center.

Still wearing the black mask, he donned a white T-shirt, khaki jacket, black pants, white sneakers and a black hat. He was seen carrying his own bag while being escorted by several bodyguards.

Lee Min Ho started his mandatory service as a public worker back in May 2017. Usually, training takes place before starting the service duty. However, the "Boys Over Flowers" actor is in a pre-service system, where one starts service first and later enters military training center at the time set by the Military Manpower Administration. He is expected to be discharged in May 2019.

Prior to Lee Min Ho's enlistment into the military training center, it was reported that a company was promising fans they would be allowed to walk with the actor into the training camp. The company reportedly took 500,000 KRW (approximately 470 USD) for 1 person, 600,000 KRW (approximately 560 USD) for 2-3 people, and 700,000 KRW (approximatly 660 USD) for 4 people. The company even promised that one fan would be able to get in with Lee Min Ho's parents.

Responding to the report, Lee Min Ho's label said, "Even if it does not directly hurt the label, this is business being done with Lee Min Ho's name. We will be taking some sort of action, whether it is through an announcement or something else."
