Drake's 'More Life' Spends Three Consecutive Weeks Atop Billboard 200

'More Life' stays atop the chart in its third week, while Kodak Black's 'Painting Pictures' and Mastodon's 'Emperor of Sand' debut in top 10.

AceShowbiz - Drake's "More Life" spends three weeks in a row at No. 1 on Billboard 200 chart with 136,000 equivalent album units in the week ending April 6, according to Nielsen Music. The set racked up 16,000 in traditional album sales and was still dominated by its streaming activity with 111,000 streaming equivalent album units.

"More Life" is the first album to spend three weeks atop the chart since Drake's previous project "Views" back in 2016, which spent nine straight weeks at No.1 and 13 non-consecutive weeks in total. This marks Drake's 21st weeks at No. 1 on Billboard 200 chart.

Ed Sheeran's "Divide (division sign)" stays steady at No. 2 for the third week with 80,000 units, while Kodak Black blasts to No. 3 with his debut studio album "Painting Pictures" with 71,000 units, which is greatly powered by its 51,000 streaming equivalent units. The set's hit single "Tunnel Vision" bows at No.2 on the Streaming Songs chart dated April 15.

Bruno Mars' "24K Magic", which was at No. 6 last week, ascends to No. 4 with 48,000 units. The soundtrack of "Beauty and the Beast (2017)" falls to No. 5 with 46,000 units, while the "Moana" soundtrack climbs one slot to No. 6 with 44,000 units.

Rock band Mastodon nabs its third top 10 album as "Emperor of Sand" lands at No. 7 with 43,000 units. The group previously entered the top 10 with "Once More 'Round the Sun" in 2014 and "The Hunter" in 2011. Meanwhile, Future's self-titled album, "Future", trails behind at No. 8 with 38,000 units.

Other titles making up this week's top 10 are Migos' "Culture", which goes up to No. 9 with 34,000 units, and MercyMe's new album "Lifer", which debuts at No.10 with 33,000 units.
