The 'Full House' alum is joining the cast of 'Scream Queens' following the cancellation of his FOX comedy 'Grandfathered'.

AceShowbiz - John Stamos has been added to the cast of "Scream Queens" season 2 as a series regular. The second season will be set in a hospital run by Dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis). The "Full House" alum will play Dr. Brock Holt, the hospital's brilliant, but secretive, head surgeon.
John is joining the returning members from the first season including Jamie Lee, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Billie Lourd, Niecy Nash and Glen Powell, who are set to reprise their respective roles. More new cast members will be announced at a later date.
"Scream Queens" marks a reunion for John and showrunner Ryan Murphy, following his guest appearance on "Glee" and "The New Normal". Ryan is executive producing the horror-comedy alongside Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Alexis Martin Woodall.
The casting news came following the cancellation of John's short-lived FOX comedy "Grandfathered".
"Scream Queens" season 2 will premiere on September 20 on FOX.
