Jamie Lee Curtis Posed Topless for AARP The Magazine
March 24, 2008 11:03:47Aging but still agile, Jamie Lee Curtis went shirtless to pose for AARP (American Associated Of Retired Persons) The Magazine. The actress, who was initially known as a "scream queen" because of her starring roles in many horror films early in her career, is on the cover of the May-June issue of the publication in a bid to help promote healthier body images for older women.
Curtis, who will turn 50 by November later this year, is shown in the magazine cover exposing her shoulders in a swimming pool and sporting gray hair. She told AARP that she wants to convince women that they will be their most beautiful if they take care of their bodies and age naturally.
U.S. Actress Jamie Lee Curtis Advertising Activia Yoghurt
March 05, 2008 10:03:35The Dannon Company has launched an advertising campaign for Activia featuring actress Jamie Lee Curtis in a bid to draw attention to the importance of digestive health. The U.S. actress, best known for her role as Laurie Strode in "Halloween" (1978), has teamed up with the food giant to appear in a series of adverts promoting the company's Activia yoghurt products.
The probiotic yoghurt-like drink, as claimed by Dannon, aids digestive problems and Curtis herself insists she is happy to be "the ice breaker" for open discussions on digestive health. And concerning her role as the new face of Activia, Curtis will star in a series of U.S. commercials that will feature "frank and open conversations" about bowel regularity, drawing attention to the importance of maintaining a healthy digestive system.

Striving for a memorable return to the big screen after her last appearance in 2005's "The Kid & I", Jamie Lee Curtis has landed a starring role in Walt Disney Pictures' lost-dog comedy "South of the Border."
Project focuses on a pampered Beverly Hills chihuahua named Chloe who gets lost during a vacation in Mexico and must rely on her new friends to help her get back home.
Curtis reportedly will portray Aunt Viv, the only live-action character in the flick besides Piper Perabo's character.
Jamie Lee Curtis Quits Career
November 02, 2005 10:11:04It's her mothering role that becomes the most important thing in her life, not her career anyway. Hollywood babe Jamie Lee Curtis has realized that as she, during an interview with "Access Hollywood," revealed that she "doesn't accept acting work anymore," saying her life is "so filled with my children, my family and the charitable work I do."
Further she adds "My life is so filled that for me to accept acting work now means that I have to basically let somebody else do the job that I want to do, which is raise my children. It's not that I'm retired it's just that I no longer accept acting work." It's obvious already that Curtis places her full-time role as a mother above her career.
Arnold the Terminator is Back
October 12, 2005 04:10:52Is it becoming a governor or an actor? Which one Hollywood action man Arnold Schwarzenegger chooses? Either one is okay anyway. It is well with him to become a governor and so to return to the big screen.
The actor reportedly has agreed to star in two big money sequels, namely "Terminator 4" and "True Lies 2." Speaking about the possibility that he would re-team with Oscar-winning director James Cameron in a fourth 'Terminator' installment, Eliza Dushku says, "We all caught up. Me, Jamie Lee Curtis, Arnold, and Jim (James Cameron), to talk about True Lies 2, about a month ago in California. We're doing it. Definitely doing it. I'm revved."
