Michele may have started the rumors about the One Direction singer's possible involvement in the FOX series, while Billie Lourd and Keke Palmer said that they would like to work with Justin Bieber.

AceShowbiz - Following the announcement of the returning cast for "Scream Queens" season 2, rumors started to swirl about Harry Styles possibly landing a role on the horror comedy anthology series and Lea Michele is the one responsible for that. At 2016 PaleyFest Los Angeles on Saturday, March 12, the "Glee" alumna joked that the boybander would be joining the show.

Co-creator Brad Falchuk noted, "She started all this. She started this rumor and now it's a thing." The show's official Twitter also posted, "@msleamichele *may* have started the Harry Styles rumors... Billie is campaigning for Justin Bieber to join #ScreamQueens! #PaleyFest." It added later, "@RobertsEmma and @KekePalmer are currently fighting over who will get to be with @Harry_Styles in Season 2. #ScreamQueens #PaleyFest."

Following the tweets, Daily Mail falsely claimed that Styles' casting on "Scream Queens" had been confirmed. Trying to avoid more misleading reports, the show's Twitter account removed the previous two posts and posted a new one which read, "Sorry for any confusion, but as much as we love @harry_styles he will not be joining the #ScreamQueens Season 2 cast."

Meanwhile, Michele's co-stars Keke Palmer and Billie Lourd wanted Justin Bieber as a guest star for season 2. "We want Bieber!" said Palmer at the PaleyFest. This, however, is not official either.

As reported before, the only confirmed cast for the next installment are Michele, Palmer, Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin, Glen Powell, Niecy Nash and Jamie Lee Curtis. The Chanels taken to asylum at the end of season 1 will somehow become med students, while Dean Munsch (Curtis) has decided to buy a hospital and battle healthcare in season 2. Zayday (Palmer) becomes a doctor and Denise (Nash) works for FBI.

Falchuck teased Hester's (Michele) part in the storyline, "In this hospital, there's some funny business going as well. There's an aspect to this show that involves murder and a killer and in those ways Hester is going to be intimately involved."
