AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez has reached a new milestone in the world of social media. On Saturday, March 12, the "Hands to Myself" hitmaker took to Snapchat to announce that she's the most-followed person on Instagram.
In the video she posted, Gomez wore a black New York Yankees hat as she started to share the good news. "Hey guys. I'm officially the number one most followed on Instagram. Thank you!" she said before giggling.
Gomez now has 69.1 million followers on Instagram, followed by her BFF Taylor Swift, who has 69 million followers. The 23-year-old songstress also beats out Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, who have 63.4 million and 54.1 million people following them respectively.
Gomez is also more popular than her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber on the online photo-sharing service. The Canadian singer came behind Gomez, having 61.3 million loyal Instagram Beliebers.
Gomez isn't shy to share some sexy pictures on Instagram, and that's probably one of the reasons why she became the queen of Instagram. Earlier this month, the "Good for You" singer uploaded some photos when she was in France to attend Paris Fashion Week. In some of the photos, Gomez flaunted her ample cleavage and put her lean legs on full display.
