A Kesha and Zedd Collaboration May Really Happen

Zedd, who last month offered to help Kesha by producing a song for her, reveals the singer's team has contacted him and asked if he's serious about wanting to work with her.

AceShowbiz - Zedd last month showed support to Kesha (formerly Ke$ha), who's currently embroiled in legal battle with Dr. Luke, by offering to produce new music for her. Shortly after news broke that a judge denied to release her from her contract with Sony, the EDM star reached out to the singer via Twitter, writing, "Very, very sorry to hear about the whole situation. I'll be happy to produce a song for you, if you want my help."

If you've been wondering how Kesha will respond to the offer, Zedd has just revealed in an interview with ET Online that a collaboration between them may actually happen. The Russian/German DJ told the publication that the "Tik Tok" hitmaker's team had contacted him to ask him if he was serious about wanting to work with her.

"Her team actually hit us back confirming that I was serious about it, which is really cool," he said. "I'm obviously very serious about it, so maybe something will happen. Maybe there's something I can do. Maybe we can do some music. Nothing I can say right now, but it would be cool."

"All I know is that she's in a very rough position and if there's anything I can ever do to help I'll always be happy to do that," he continued.

Zedd isn't the only artist taking Kesha's side in her ongoing drama with Luke, whom she accuses of raping her. Lady GaGa, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift have all supported the singer, who turned 29 earlier this week.

For now, Kesha's still signed to Luke's Kemosabe Record, and is required to release six more albums under the label, though the producer's lawyer recently said she's free to make new music without his assistance.
