Rihanna Is Reportedly the Reason Rita Ora Sues Roc Nation

A new report claims RiRi doesn't like Ora and she's the reason the label is 'uninterested in putting effort into promoting' the British singer.

AceShowbiz - Last week, Rita Ora filed a lawsuit against Jay-Z's Roc Nation, demanding the label to release her from her contract because of their lack of support. Now, a new report emerged claiming that fellow Roc Nation artist Rihanna was partly responsible for the British singer's decision to sue the company.

According to The Sun, the two ladies had been feuding for quite some time and RiRi was the reason why the label never prioritized Ora. "Rihanna has never liked Rita and has been using her power at Roc Nation accordingly. This is the main reason the label's execs have been uninterested in putting effort into promoting Rita," said a source.

The report also alleged that all songs that were meant for Ora would first be offered to RiRi. "Songs that might be submitted to her are automatically given to Rihanna, who may then hold them for months before deciding she doesn't want them," added the source.

Ora's ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris was seemingly another reason behind her lawsuit. As everyone knows, the Scottish DJ banned his former lover from using the songs he produced for her following their messy break-up.

"The fact that Rita's ex Calvin Harris is on their management books hasn't helped either. He is one of their highest earners and they did nothing to stop him when he blocked Rita from using songs that he had written on her album," the source explained.

In a complaint she filed last week in Los Angeles, Ora said that her relationship with Roc Nation was "irrevocably damaged" after they neglected her career as the company shifted their focus to sports management and other endeavors.
