Less than two months after her partner A$AP Rocky said that she is working on her new album, the 'Love on the Brain' singer spills she 'got stuff that I feel like I could make hits out of.'

AceShowbiz - Rihanna may leave her devotees excited with her recent statement. While her fans have been waiting for her to release a new album, the "Umbrella" singer revealed that there is a possibility of her featuring her two children in the upcoming record.

In an interview published on Wednesday, April 17, the 35-year-old songstress, who shares sons RZA and Riot with hip-hop artist A$AP Rocky, received a question about her next album that is labeled "R9" by her devotees. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she was asked if she has "any plans to have RZA and Riot [in her] upcoming album."

In response, Rihanna, who has not unleashed an album for nearly one decade, said, "I mean, it's up to them." She went on to tease, "I already got stuff that I feel like I could make hits out of," before explaining, "Me and Rocky are really trying to figure out who's gonna use what." She further spilled, "Because it's so good."

About when her ninth studio album will be available on music streaming platforms, the "Love on the Brain" singer joked, "I wanna know, too." However, she did not offer any other details about the record.

During the chat, Rihanna also talked about using her partner Rocky as her inspiration in dressing their two sons. She told the media outlet, "When I dress them, I always try to dress them like Rocky."

On the reason why, Rihanna elaborated, "Because I always envision dressing a girl, right? We all do as women, like, 'Oh, I'm going to dress her in these cute little things,' but then you get sons and you're like, 'What do I do?' and I was like, 'You know what, I have the biggest hack - their dad.' "

Rihanna and Rocky, who started their romantic relationship back in 2019, welcomed their firstborn, RZA, in 2022. After giving birth to RZA, she got pregnant with their second child Riot and debuted her baby bump during the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Riot was born in August that same year.

The interview came less than two months after Rocky shared an update on Rihanna's progress in creating new music. In a video circulating via X, formerly known as Twitter, on February 17, it could be seen that he was told by one of his fans to "tell Rihanna to drop the album." In return, he excitedly spilled, "She's working on it."
