One of The Flash's old foes is coming back to Central City. As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Eobard Thawne a.k.a. the Reverse-Flash is set to make "impossible return" and bring more troubles for the titular hero in an upcoming episode of The CW's series.

Matt Letscher is reprising his role as the villain, whose existence was erased from the timeline after his ancestor Eddie Thawne killed himself in season 1 finale. Reverse-Flash will join Barry Allen and Co. in episode 11 aptly titled "The Reverse-Flash Returns", but his appearance has been teased in a just-unveiled preview for the next episode, "Everything Will Change".

"His impossible return to Central City puts a member of the S.T.A.R. Labs team in unexpected danger, forcing Barry to make a life-changing decision," explained executive producer Todd Helbing, who also wrote the episode featuring Reverse-Flash with Aaron Helbing.

"The Flash" will air its new episodes starting Tuesday, January 19 at 08:00 P.M. EST on The CW.
