The 'American Idol' alum posted on Twitter the black-and-white artwork and the third snippet four days before officially releasing the new single.

AceShowbiz - Adam Lambert has less than a week until his new single "Ghost Town" is officially released. While fans are eagerly waiting for it, the singer took to Twitter on Thursday, April 16 to unveil the song's cover art.

"Single Art #GhostTown," he wrote, captioning a black-and-white picture of him posing in all-black. Minutes before, he also shared on Twitter another preview of the song. "My heart is a ghost town," he sings in the 10-second snippet.

Set to premiere on April 21, "Ghost Town" is leading Lambert's new album "The Original High". Set to come out later this year via Warner Bros. Records, the follow-up to 2012's "Trespassing" will feature contributions from Max Martin and Shellback who previously worked with the "American Idol" alum on his hit "Whataya Want From Me".

"['Ghost Town'] feels like the perfect introduction to 'The Original High'. It establishes itself in a very earthy, vulnerable way and transforms into a hypnotic dream full of surreal imagery and set to a minimal yet massive deep house beat," Lambert recently teased his new single in an interview with Hunger TV. "The hook will worm its way into your ears after the first listen. Get ready!"
