The top 12 sang in the Wednesday episode to earn viewers' votes before the first eliminated finalist is announced on Thursday night.

AceShowbiz - "American Idol" has revealed the 12 finalists of the season. On Wednesday night, 11, ten of the contestants made it through to the finals based on viewers' choice, while two others were picked by the judges. They immediately sang their audition songs to get votes before another elimination on Thursday.

The first to be announced safe and it was no surprise was Sarina-Joi Crowe. She sang "Love Runs Out" by OneRepublic. Her timing was off during the second half of the song and Keith Urban warned her about pitch issue.

Rayvon Owen was called next. He performed a slow version of Katy Perry's "Wide Awake" and finished it with a giant pitch-perfect note. Jennifer Lopez called it "sick" in a good way.

Daniel Seavey is also safe. He sang "Straight Up" by Paula Abdul, but ditched his guitar which he played during his audition. Harry Connick Jr. thought he's too young and too inexperienced for the competition, while Keith and J.Lo gave some advice on song choice.

Maddie Walker made it to the top 12 and reprised her performance of Gwen Sebastian's "Suitcase". J.Lo and Harry thought she a little too in her head, but said it was a solid performance.

Also advancing, Tyanna Jones delivered one of the best performances of the night with "Wings" by Little Mix. J.Lo and Harry praised her vocals and how comfortable she's on stage. Keith declared, "You're a star."

Nick Fradiani sang Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes". He's older than the other contestants and his experience showed, but Keith wanted him to believe in himself more.

Jax Cole revisited "I Want To Hold Your Hand" by The Beatles, playing the piano for the first part of the song and picked up the pace in the second half of the song. Keith thought it would've been better if Jax had played the piano throughout the performance, and Harry said he didn't need the band. Still, the judges thoughts she's a favorite.

Qaasim Middleton sang Stevie Wonder's "Sir Duke", delivering an entertaining performance with his iconic style. J.Lo and Harry liked his enery, while Keith praised him for showing a complete range of human emotion in about 20 seconds.

Clark Beckham also advanced. His performance of James Brown's "It's a Man's, Man's, Man's World" was flawless as J.Lo said, "That to me was the vocal of the night."

Joey Cook's audition song was The Tallest Man on Earth's "King of Spain". She traded her accordion for a ukulele this time. Harry said she finally found a place in the competition.

The judges then announced the wildward choices, which were Quentin Alexander and Adanna Duru. This means Mark Andrew, Adam Ezegelian, Loren Lott and Alexis Gomez had to end their journey on the competition.

Quentin took the stage to deliver an emotional performance of Lorde's "Royals". "Your emotion is part of what makes you a great artist," J.Lo pointed out, but Harry noticed his pitch wasn't perfect.

Adanna sang Lady GaGa's "You and I" and Harry said it was out of tune. J.Lo, meanwhile, said that she needed to gain control of her songs.

On Thursday, March 12, one of these 12 finalists will be sent home.
