An awesome video shared online sees the web slinger joining the Earth's mightiest heroes as they fight the Chitauris during the battle of New York.

AceShowbiz - In the wake of the news that Spider-Man is joining Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans just cannot wait to see the web slinger joining forces with the Earth's mightiest heroes. On Friday, February 13, the Screen Crush uploaded an awesome mash-up video showing Spider-Man teaming up with The Avengers during the battle of New York.

The video opens with Chris Evans' Captain America discussing strategies with his teammates before Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man joins them. Spidey and Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man join forces to bring down the worm-like creature destroying the city.

While Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye and Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow take on the Chitauris, Spidey helps save an old man and his granddaughter who are about to be hit by a bus. The archer and the fighter then take the passengers out of the bus. The video ends with Chris Hemsworth's Thor summoning thunder to destroy The Avengers' enemy.

Fans are now eagerly waiting for "Avengers: Age of Ultron". Directed by Joss Whedon, the follow-up to "The Avengers" will see new characters such as Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Quicksilver (Aaron Johnson), The Vision (Paul Bettany) and Ultron (James Spader). It will hit theaters in the U.S. on May 1.
