AceShowbiz - Dozens of A-list musicians performed at the 57th Grammy Awards on Sunday night, February 8. Among those who took the stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California were Pharrell Williams, Kanye West and Rihanna.

Pharrell paid tribute to Mike Brown, an unarmed black teenager who was shot to death by a cop in Ferguson last year, as he delivered another version of his hit single "Happy", which that night won the Best Pop Solo Performance Awards. He took the stage dressing like a bellhop and completed his look with a pair of bedazzled yellow shoes.

He was joined onstage by pianist Lang Lang, Hans Zimmer who played his guitar and some dancers in black hoodies. During the performance, they made a "hands up, don't shoot" gesture that has become a protest chant in the wake of Brown's passing.

Returning to the Grammy stage after a six-year absence, West slowed things down when he played his emotional song "Only One" for the first time on TV. He kept things simple as he donned a red velour suit and his new Adidas shoes while singing over a single spotlight.

Later in the night, he returned to join collaborators Rihanna and Paul McCartney for her newest single "FourFive Seconds". The trio traded the all-denim outfits from the song's music video for all-black suits as they led audience that included Kim Kardashian and Jay-Z for a clap-along.

Other notable performances came from Madonna who brought along her horn-wearing dancers for "Living for Love", Ariana Grande who tackled "A Little Bit of Your Heart" instead of her newest single "One Last Time", Katy Perry who sang "By the Grace of God" and AC/DC who was caught using teleprompter while kicking off the Sunday event with their own song "Rock and Bust".
