The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's son Prince George reportedly will be joined by a little sister.

AceShowbiz - The gender of Kate Middleton and Prince William's second baby has allegedly been revealed. Palace insiders tell OK! Magazine that the Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with a baby girl. "Kate and William found out they were expecting a girl during the 21-week scan, and since then, everyone's been asking what they plan to name her," one of the insiders says.

The magazine reports that although the royal couple "felt they needed to either go with something very traditional, like Elizabeth or Mary, or something that had a lot of meaning to them. So they've gone with the latter," they will name their daughter Diana, after William's late mother Princess Diana.

According to the magazine, William "never saw his mom as a royal figure - she was just his mom, and she adored him and his brother. He had such a happy childhood, and that was all due to her."

The insider adds, "They decided then and there that no matter what anyone said, they were sticking to naming their baby girl after her late grandmother. Having a baby girl who carried her name will be a beautiful reminder of Diana every time he looks at his daughter."

Kate allegedly is the one who picks the name and Queen Elizabeth II allegedly approves it. "[The Queen] told [William] that while she knows she had her issues with Diana in the past, she couldn't deny that she was an amazing mother," the insider claims.
