The 'Lucy' star becomes a first-time mother after delivering daughter Rose, her first child with her French beau.
Scarlett Johansson, 29, can now officially add mother to her resume. The Black Widow depicter in Marvel Cinematic Universe has given birth to a baby girl. "Mother and daughter are doing well," a rep said to the Associated Press.
The bundle of joy is named Rose. It's Scarlett's first child with fiance Romain Dauriac. No other details are available, but the representative said the new parents, as avid supporters of No Kids Policy in Hollywood, were seeking privacy.
The actress got engaged to her French beau in September 2013. In March this year, news broke out that she's pregnant. She was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds who is now married to his "Green Lantern" co-star Blake Lively.
Scarlett kept low profile in the past few weeks before giving birth. She was last seen stepping out in public in New York City in July sporting a pixie hairdo. She was last seen on the big screen in "Lucy" and will next kick ass in "Avengers: Age of Ultron".
