After a successful promo and release of 'Roar', the singer now turns everyone's attention to her upcoming album.

AceShowbiz - Following the aggressive promotion and successful debut of her new single "Roar", Katy Perry now channels her energy towards the release of her forthcoming new album "Prism" due on October 22. The 28-year-old pop star unveiled its cover artwork during her September 6, Friday guest appearance on "Good Morning America".

"If you missed it on the JUMBOTRON on @GMA, here it is - my #PRISM album cover, shot by the wonderful Ryan McGinley!" tweeted Perry along with the image, a washed out photo of her standing in the middle of a sunflower field. Looking more naturally beautiful compared to her previous wig-wearing ways, the artwork is a refreshing visual for the entertainer who's trying to reinvent herself.

Not content with just the artwork, Perry also unveiled the album's tracklist, revealing twelve new tracks led by the newly-crowned Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit "Roar" that ended Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" 12-week reign in the singles chart. She also premiered the jungle-themed music video of "Roar", complete with fireflies, alligator and, what else but a tiger.

During her "GMA" interview, Perry also announced the "Roar with Katy Perry" contest for her young fans, where they just need to send a two-minute video of themselves and their friends doing their own rendition of "Roar". The prize will be Perry's live performance in the winning contestant's school which will also be broadcast over on the morning show.
