'Celebrity Apprentice' Recap: Dayana Mendoza Gets Fired for Losing Her Team's Respect
TV

Serving as a project for team Forte, the former Miss Universe gets Clay Aiken frustrated for trying to teach him about singing before finally losing his respect.

AceShowbiz - Dayana Mendoza and Arsenio Hall stepped up for team Forte and team Unanimous respectively in the 11th episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice" season 5. They led their teams in doing the task, which required them to create and perform a 90-second jingle to promote the Good Sam's Roadside Assistance Program.

When Clay Aiken tried to give some inputs, Dayana seemed to ignore his suggestions. Lisa Lampanelli was worried because Dayana appeared not having much knowledge about music styles. The Miss Universe 2008 finally agreed to do sixty style, but got her team mates frustrated when she kept interrupting them when they sang and throwing stupid ideas.

When Donald Trump Jr. visited them, Lisa initially talked good things about Dayana, but the Venezuela beauty irritated Lisa by saying the comedienne was loud. Lisa then called Dayana a "little b***h" in front of Trump Jr., and refused to talk to Dayana if she didn't apologize to her. Clay tried to jump in between the two, but failed.

Over at team Unanimous, Aubrey O'Day seemingly tried to usurp power from her team leader Arsenio as she bragged about writing a song in two seconds. When Arsenio told her and Teresa Giudice to work with the graphic designer, she ignored his order and worked with the background singers instead.

Aubrey crossed the line when she bad mouthed Arsenio in front of Trump Jr., saying the former talk show host was not creative. Aubrey went on taking control over the rehearsal, prompting Teresa to feel worried that they wouldn't be able to complete the task because Aubrey and Arsenio kept fighting.

When it's time for the live performance, team Forte did a good job but Dayana made an unnecessary appearance on stage just to thank all the dancers. Team Unanimous' jingle was a bit cheesy, and the executives didn't like that the cheerleading was too revealing.

In the Boardroom, Arsenio admitted to Donald Trump there's a conflict between him and Aubrey because she has a strong character. Lisa, meanwhile, complained that Dayana insulted Clay's ability in making music during the task. The two ladies went on insulting each other. Clay then admitted he was frustrated with Dayana.

Mr. Trump later announced that team Unanimous won in this task though their performance was a little too sexy. Arsenio got $45,000 for Magic Johnson's foundation. Team Forte, on the other hand, lost it because their theme was a little safe and the branding was not there, although the execs liked their jingle.

Defending her leadership, Dayana claimed it's hard to manage Lisa who did not respect her since the beginning. When Clay was asked if he respects Dayana, he said not after this task. Mr. Trump then praised Dayana for being a fabulous person, but she got fired for not being able to lead her team mates.
