Jennifer Aniston has officially become the first "Friends" star to have been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. On Wednesday, February 22, the 43-year-old actress stepped out in blue, white and red patterned Tom Ford dress to receive the accolade, and heard her "Just Go with It" co-star Adam Sandler making jokes about her.
"She prayed for three things," Sandler told the crowd about Aniston's dream. "To have everyone in the entire world be fascinated with her haircut; to one day star in a movie about an evil leprechaun who kills people, and most importantly, receive a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. Well today, Jennifer, the trifecta is here."
Sandler was not the only one celebrating Aniston on the special day. The Hollywood beauty's co-stars in "Wanderlust", Malin Akerman and Kathryn Hahn, also took turn speaking on the podium set in front of the W Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street. Aniston's boyfriend Justin Theroux and father John Aniston were also present to give support.
Aniston herself didn't lose her sense of humor when delivering her acceptance speech. "This is crazy. I mean, literally. I mean, I walk the streets of Hollywood Boulevard," she said before adding, "Oh please, I didn't mean it like that. Well I think we're about to get on all fours too, so this could be very interesting."
