AceShowbiz - More details from the wedding ceremony and reception of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries come out as the hours pass by. The wedding got underway 37 minutes later than scheduled at 6 P.M. Kris was heard saying, "I'm nervous" several times when waiting Kim to walk down the aisle with stepfather Bruce Jenner.

In the printed programs handed to the guests, Kim wrote about late father Robert Kardashian, "I so wish my dad could be here today to walk me down the aisle, But I know in a way he is here, and I feel his loving presence all around me. I love and miss you, dad."

The August 20 wedding was officiated by Pastor Joel Johnson who has known Kris since he was a teen. The pastor told the guests that he asked the couple to write down what they loved from each other and had them shared to the guests.

Kim said that Kris puts smile on her face everyday and that he's the "yin to her yang". Not only he brings calm to her life but also brings the fun out of her. Meanwhile, Kris loved Kim for her compassion, her work ethics, how she treats every day like it's her last and how much she loves her family.

After saying "I do" and sealed it with a kiss, Kim and Kris treated their guests with lavish reception under the tent. Robin Thicke introduced them as "Mr. and Mrs. Humphries" and serenaded the married couple in their first dance to his "Angels".

The theme of the wedding was black and white with thousands of white roses dominating the decoration. The 6 foot wedding cake was also in white and black, designed by Hansen Cakes in Los Angeles and costing between $15,000 to $20,000. It is reportedly a replica of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding cake. The guests were handed out cakes at the reception, but not from the wedding cake.

Wolfgang Puck is in charge of the catering, serving the guests with a buffalo mozzarella and heirloom tomato salad with basil and "tomato chips" as appetizer. There was a choice of hand-formed agnolotti with sweet corn mascarpone and summer truffles, or roast chicken with Yukon Gold potato puree, caramelized brussels sprouts and summer truffles.

Kim changed to two other ivory Vera Wang gowns for the reception, a tight mermaid style dress and a figure-hugging skirt with hand-cut organza petals and lace. Kris exchanged his white tuxedo with a black one to match his groomsmen. The bride and groom walked around and greeted their guests while keeping at each other company the whole night.

Mr. and Mrs. Humphries will hold a second nuptials on August 31 at a venue which is yet announced.
