The 'Thor' actor and his 'Cabin in the Woods' pals suspect something suspicious while they are hanging out by the fireplace.
The first still from upcoming thriller "The Cabin in the Woods" has landed online, teasing the horror scenario of the movie. Courtesy of Bloody Disgusting, it features the film's five main actors Chris Hemsworth, Jesse Williams, Anna Hutchinson, Kristen Connolly and Fran Kranz standing inside the titular cabin looking somewhat wary. The thing that makes them suspicious is kept hidden from prying camera though.
The film will revolve around five college-type characters who head to a cabin in the woods for a vacation, only to discover that things aren't quite what they seem. Although it seems to be a stereotypical horror movie where the characters are lured to a deadly trap, a new twist to make this one more captivating than the other movies with similar plots is promised.
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" mastermind Joss Whedon serves as producer of the movie, while "Cloverfield" scribe Drew Goddard sits behind the lens. The horror pic hasn't got release date, but rumor suggests it will be released in the United States sometime this fall.
A new poster of the movie was also recently revealed.
