Showcasing your talent on the web might be the easiest way to get yourself noticed. Justin Bieber, Greyson Chance, Ted Williams as well as duo father/daughter Jorge and Alexa Narvaez are some of those who have tasted fame after their footage was uploaded on the largest video-sharing site YouTube.
Now, a ten-year-old Heather Russell is creating online buzz after home-made videos of her singing her own songs, including the one titled "She Needs Love", made their ways out. The kid is dubbed as the next singing sensation after Bieber, and her soulful voice draws comparison to Mariah Carey's.
The little girl has written her own songs since she's just 8 years old. Her first song is called "Beautiful" and she takes her music inspiration from the likes of Prince, Justin Timberlake, Queen and Alicia Keys. Grammy-winning producer Rob Fusari, who worked with Lady GaGa in "The Fame" album, has taken her under his wings.
"At 5 years old she had a vibrato," he wrote on his official website. "At 9, Ashton Kutcher tweeted about her to Demi Moore, Ellen DeGeneres wants her on the show .... Stay tuned for more on Heather."

I agree with you in a way about the roller coaster voice but I believe that IS her way. I love the emotion she puts into her songs! She is a Natural! It all come to her with such ease. You're Amazingly Talented Heather Russell!!! You're gonna go far!!!
good job baby
She's awesome. What talent for such a young age. This girl is going places! MuskykCrity46 - are you a talent scout? Hopefully not because you're tone deaf. Work on your own inferiority issues and stop picking on kids - creep!
I don't understand how anyone could not like this girls voice and at her age she is unreal. It is funny the people that talk negative are not on there singing. She is one of the best singers I have ever heard at that age.God has given her a gift and she will be singing in her future.
She sings with too much flair. Almost as if her voice is on a roller coaster. I don't like that about the way she performs. There is a voice in there and I see the talent but she needs to drop the bad habits of that Christina Aguilera-esque type of singing. It's not attractive to the ear. And on top of that she looks awkward singing it in that fashion, She needs to find her own style.
