Movies has got a hold on an exclusive inside look at the animated comedy about three misfit friends living during the Ice Age era. Coming out in the form of a featurette, the inside look video features many fresh footage as well as partial interview with many of the film's voice talents and director.
Speaking up first is director Carlos Saldanha, who promises that "Dawn of the Dinosaurs" is made on a bigger scale compared to the first two "Ice Age" movies with the addition of Dinosaurs for the trio's new adventures. John Leguizamo, who gives voice to Sid, then takes over, explaining that this third movie will have a lot of action sequences, before Queen Latifah, who voices Ellie, states the pregnancy story.

Adam Lambert Responds to Him Offered as Queen's Singer

Although admitting that the idea of joining Queen is "unbelievable," Adam shares, "But at the same time, I do have my own thing to do right now, and that's my goal." He adds, "So if I could, I would try to do both. That's the honest question. I would try to do both. I would love to perform with them anytime they wanted me to but I also have my record to do. Kris Allen Is the New 'American Idol' Winner!

The result show on Wednesday, May 20 was opened with Ryan Seacrest welcoming back Adam and Kris on the stage. Right after that, a video about the judges was played before the Top 13, all in white outfits, performed Pink's "So What". As previously reported, the show was to be visited by many guest performers and the first to take the stage was last season's "Idol" champion, David Cook. Paul Rodgers Parting Ways With Queen

Of that matter, he says, "At this point we're gonna sit back from this. My arrangement with (Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor) was similar to my arrangement with Jimmy (Page) in The Firm in that it was never meant to be a permanent arrangement."
"I think we made a huge success of it, actually. We did two world tours and a couple of live recordings," Rodgers elaborates more. "And...made a studio album (2008's commercially disappointing 'The Cosmos Rocks') which was pretty historical for (May and Taylor) because they hadn't really gone in the studio with anybody and recorded something like that for a very long time. So it was quite an achievement, I think."

Queen+Paul Rodgers Announce Release Date for New Album

Queen to Release First Album Without Freddie Mercury

Former member John Deacon won't be featured in this project, instead Paul Rodgers is brought in. Queen's Brian May Working on 'We Will Rock You' Sequel

Story, set in 1964, follows a teenage girl named Lily Owens as she runs away from her father with her caregiver and only friend to a South Carolina town, where she is later taken in by an eccentric trio of beekeeping sisters. Hudson is set to play the caregiver while Latifah and Okonedo will become two of the three sisters.

Drummer Roger Taylor originally wrote the piece in 2003 and performed it live for the first time at the 46664 concert in Cape Town, South Africa. According to their site, the song carries the message that "HIV AIDS is something that can affect any one of us no matter our sexual or racial status."

Surviving members of big rock act Queen have teamed up with ex- Bad Company vocalist Paul Rodgers to record an album that guarantees a major shake up in rock genre. So far they have completed nine songs and seen the end of the line in early 2008.
Rodgers released a statement regarding the project that will start this October. "With Queen and myself, it's a very organic thing," he said. "We're letting it sort of develop itself naturally and not pushing it or giving it any pressure. We go in, just the three of us. Roger gets on the kit, Brian gets on the guitar, I get on the acoustic guitar and piano, either/or, and then we share the bass line afterwards."

The Lineup for the 2006 Lollapalooza Festival

The 2006 Lollapalooza festival is coming. The blow-out event is scheduled to be held Aug. 4-6 in Chicago's Grant Park. Lollapalooza co-founder Perry Farrell has on Thursday March 16th, 2006 announced the lineup tapped to perform at the fest.
Among the many names mentioned as the lead lineup are rap superstar Kanye West, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Wilco, Death Cab for Cutie, Queens of the Stone Age and Ween. Also there are some other notable musicians, like Matisyahu, The Shins, Jack White's new band, The Raconteurs and many more.
Queen Latifah Added to "Hairspray" Cast

The new version of musical "Hairspray" adds one more star to its cast as Queen Latifah has signed on to play the character Motormouth Maybelle, teaming up with "Grease" star John Travolta. This project therefore reunited the singer-actress with Craig Zadan and Neil Meron whom she had collaborated with in "Chicago" as well as Adam Shankman, who previously had directed her in his 2003 effort, "Bringing Down the House."
"Hairspray" centers on the story of teenager Tracy Turnblad who gets popular after appearing on a local TV show in Baltimore during the early 1960s and then uses her newfound fame to fight for racial integration. Filming is slated to start this fall for a 2007 release under the distribution of New Line Cinema.
Music Acts Tapped to Perform on the Stones Tour
December 16, 2005 11:12:09Amidst the preparation for their North American tour next month, The Rolling Stones has proposed such music acts, like California rockers Queens of the Stone Age and country duo Brooks & Dunn as some of their tour's opening acts.
The tapping of the music performers has been confirmed by the Stones publicist on Thursday, adding that country veteran Merle Haggard, New Orleans funk veterans The Meters, and all-girl rock group Antigone Rising also will perform.
Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page Gets OBE

Thus, he has on Wednesday Dec 14th gone to Buckingham Palace to receive an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, or OBE, from the queen.
Many of his good deeds include set up a safe house, which has supported more than 300 children, and task Brazil offers medical and psychological support, food, clothing and job training. Overwhelmed to be given the accolade, Page commented "I think when you're faced with a plight that's inescapable, and there's something you can do about it, you hope you can make a difference."
Queen Unveiled North American Tour Dates
November 29, 2005 03:11:36British rock band Queen says hello to North America as they unveiled Tuesday that they are going to embark on a six-week tour there, beginning March 3 in Miami. The music group's guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor and Bad Company frontman Paul Rodgers will altogether perform in front of their many fans.
The tour reportedly will feature video footage of late singer Freddie Mercury who died of AIDS in 1991. Besides, it will also include three dates in California: San Diego (April 1), Anaheim (April 3) and San Jose (April 5), and will wrap April 13 in Vancouver, B.C. Hip Hoper LL Cool J Works on New Album

The Def Jam set is the follow-up to his 2004's "The DEFinition," which debuted at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 743,000 copies in the United States. The as yet titled album will feature guest appearances from Mary J. Blige, 112 and Teairra Mari.
In addition to working on the album, LL Cool J also has signed a nine-picture deal with Lions Gate Film to produce movies, and also has the option of acting in the projects. He will next be seen in "Last Holiday" alongside Queen Latifah, and also appears in "Edison," which stars Justin Timberlake and Morgan Freeman.

New Drummer Joining Nine Inch Nails in Tour

Though, the ride seems incomplete with the absence of NIN regular drummer Jerome Dillon due to health concerns. Thus, the music group has tapped Australian Alex Carapetis to fill in during its ongoing fall tour.
NIN leader Trent Reznor wrote on the band's Web site "I can't begin to tell you what a difficult job it is to replace your drummer in this band, and these guys have truly risen to the high-pressure situation that it is." Following such decision, Carapetis already played his first show with Nine Inch Nails on Friday in Chicago.

Thus, Queen has been crowned the Most Popular UK Band Of All Time. Speak about the group achievement, editor David Roberts said in a statement, "Given that Queen's chart career has been much shorter than those of the Beatles and Elvis, this is an incredible achievement and serves to cement their legendary status."
