The onstage mishap happened when Mariah Carey was singing 'Make It Happen' with several male backing dancers.
Mariah Carey who is reportedly pregnant slipped on stage while performing for live audience in Singapore over the weekend. She was quickly approached by her male dancers and helped to get back on her feet.
Wearing high heels, short skirt and fishnet stockings, the "We Belong Together" hitmaker lost her balance when delivering verses from her 1992 "Make It Happen". Seeing the humor in it, she jokingly told the crowd, "I did that on purpose!"
Her performance was held as part of LG Live at 2010 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix celebration. Her set included "Emotions", "It's Like That", "Butterfly", "Hero" and "One Sweet Day".
"TY SO much to my fans in Singapore!!! Yeah, several hectic moments, (lol!)but I tried to swirl them into festive!.Love+ God Bless!" she wrote on Twitter after the concert without mentioning the incident. "Again Singapore, thanks so much for allowing me to just be who I am &just have fun+connect w/everyone there! Thanks 4 the LOVE!x0x."
In another news, Mariah Carey reportedly is going to send her new Christmas single "Oh Santa" to radios on October 11. Meanwhile, the album "Merry Christmas II You" where the upcoming track will appear is slated for November 2 U.S. release.
