Rihanna, Timbaland and Kelly Clarkson to Judge International Songwriting Contest

The judges ranging from big recording artists to major label executives will determine the winners based on Creativity, Originality, Lyrics, Melody and Arrangement.

This year, International Songwriting Competition is going to have Rihanna, Timbaland and Kelly Clarkson on the judge panel. To determine winners for the contest, those three musicians will be joined by such recording artists as Tom Waits, Jeff Beck, Train, Adele, K'naan, Kings of Leon, Keane, Robbie Williams, DJ Tiesto and Jazmine Sullivan.

The International Songwriting Competition is an annual song contest whose mission is to provide the opportunity for both aspiring and established songwriters to have their songs heard in a professional, international arena. Music industry executives from giant labels also contribute on the judge panel.

Aspiring musicians may enter as many songs as they wish in different categories until October 6. Submissions are judged on the basis of Creativity, Originality, Lyrics, Melody and Arrangement. Over $150,000 in cash and prizes will be shared by more than 60 winners.

More info about the contest can be found on SongwritingCompetition.com.
