Chris Brown is going to headline a charity gig in Richmond, Virginia on May 15. The R&B performer who previously performed at BET's "SOS: Help for Haiti" will be joined by the likes of Keri Hilson, Trey Songz, T-Pain, Ryan Leslie, Mario and Juelz Santana.
Dubbed "Virginia Stand Up! A Call to Action", the concert will take place at Virginia Commonwealth University's Siegel Center. It is aimed to benefit the Greater Richmond Chapter of the American Red Cross for their Haitian relief efforts and the Central Virginia Food Bank, which provides food for those in need.
"I wanted to find a way to contribute personally to the ongoing Haitian relief effort and also support an organization that helps people in need in my home state," the ex-boyfriend of Rihanna said in a statement. "The images I see on television, both in my community and in Haiti, remind me that everyone has to do their part."
Tickets for the upcoming concert has been on sale beginning Monday, April 19. Additional performers are to be announced in the coming weeks. Concertgoers who come the show can bring non-perishable food items for donation.
