A clip of 'Somebody to Love' music video comes out during an episode of 'Gossip Girl' and takes its focus on Leighton Meester.

Leighton Meester's music video for her new single "Somebody to Love" has been previewed through its short clip. Coming out on The CW's hit TV show "Gossip Girl" in which she plays one of its lead characters, the snippet focuses on Leighton in feisty make-up sitting on the back of a running car.

The video is directed by Zoe Cassevetes and will be premiered next week on CWTV.com. Leighton will be seen sharing screen with her featured guest Robin Thicke in the forthcoming video. Robin's part was previously teased through several set photos.

"Somebody to Love" is the first single from Leighton's upcoming debut album which is rumored to be self-titled. The song was debuted on Ryan Seacrest's radio show Tuesday, October 13. "I really wanted to make something that's completely different from anything that's on the radio right now," she said of the track. "I feel like it's really dancy and fun, but it's still laid back and relaxed and moody and sexy."

There haven't been any release date and working title for the album. But, several names have been attached to make contribution. They are Harvey Mason Jr. (Justin Timberlake, Pink), Polow Da Don (Usher, Stacy Ferguson a.k.a Fergie), Spencer Nezey of Jupiter Rising, JR Rotem and Kara DioGuardi.

Most recently, Leighton Meester made a duet with Weezer during a Halloween concert at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City Saturday, October 31. She helped frontman Rivers Cuomo singing the band's single "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To".
