Although having it all, Alicia Keys still feels lonely as captured in the music video supporting her new single 'Doesn't Mean Anything'.

AceShowbiz - "Doesn't Mean Anything" music video opens with Alicia Keys uttering words, "This beautiful city feels empty. All the people in the world and you can still feel lonely. What's the point of having it all without the person you love. Sometimes you just need to start again in order to fly." All alone in her apartment, she is seen sitting behind the piano and singing to the song while watching the city view through the window.
"Doesn't Mean Anything" is the lead single from Alicia's December 1 release "The Element of Freedom". "You dream of having all these things, you dream of going all these places. But what's the point of doing that, having that, if the one you want to be there isn't with you?," Alicia said when explaining about the song.
Beside being busy with her music project, Alicia Keys is also involved in several charity events. Most recently, she co-hosted and performed at a fundraiser event for Keep a Child Alive organization. Moreover, she sang at Justin Timberlake & Friends concert benefiting Shriners Hospitals for Children at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino over the weekend.
Thus, it is no wonder that Alicia is nominated for Good Woodie, an award given to the artist with the greatest social impact. She will compete with John Legend, Wyclef Jean, Kenna, Jamie Tworkowski and Ra Ra Riot. Its winner will be announced on November 18 at New York's Roseland Ballroom.
