2009 MTV Video Music Awards is about to be kicked off and Lady GaGa is one of the few artists who come early to the event. The "Poker Face" hitmaker turns heads in shock as she hits the red carpet in bizarre outfit, donning a black lace Jean Paul Gaultier dress with Dragon print silk underlay from the designer's fall/winter ready to wear collection.
GaGa, who is up for nine awards at the annual gala held at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, September 13, finishes off her look with a neck brace by Kiko jewelry. "I'm just happy to be here, and I'm excited for everyone to win," says the singer, who walks the carpet with the companion of Kermit the Frog.
Beside GaGa, movie hunk Taylor Lautner is also seen among the early arrivals. The Jacob Black of "Twilight" and its sequel "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" arrives at the star-studded affair wearing black suit under his sleek coat. The 17-year-old actor along with co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are slated to present a brand-new trailer of the highly anticipated "New Moon" during the awards ceremony.
Some other entertainers who have been spotted making their way to the 26th Annual MTV Video Music Awards are Kanye West and girlfriend Amber Rose, Jack Black, Solange Knowles, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ashley Greene, Taylor Swift, Miranda Cosgrove, and Katy Perry. The show is aired live at 9 P.M. ET/PT on MTV.
