December 01, 2009 09:12:10Artists from a wide range of TV and big screen projects team up to star in a new public service announcement (PSA), which is aimed to mobilize young people in the fight against poverty and preventable disease like AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, particularly in Africa. The campaign is launched in partnership with global advocacy and campaigning organization ONE, which is co-founded by U2 rocker Bono.
"The Twilight Saga's New Moon" stars Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone, as well as "Gossip Girl" actors Leighton Meester, Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick are some of the celebrities featured in the PSA, called "Coming Together as One". Ashley Greene Sees 'The Apparition'

Variety reported that Robert Pattinson's on-screen sister, Ashley Greene, is in talks to star in the horror movie produced by Joel Silver's Dark Castle.
It is still unclear what character the 22-year-old will take on, but the story, which reportedly is inspired by true events, centers on a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence unleashed during a college experiment. Should the negotiations go according to plan, she is expected to join the production when it starts on February 1, 2010.

The actors, who star as Alice and Emmett Cullen in the "Twilight Saga" film series, have been hired to host Veuve Clicquot Yelloween at the Las Vegas Venetian Hotel's TAO and LAVO nightclubs.

More 'New Moon' Photos Coming Out
August 29, 2009 09:08:25Three new images from "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" have followed the footsteps of the five Volturi character stills, coming out for viewing pleasure. These fresh photos still take their focus on the most powerful vampire coven in Italy, but two of them also tease a look at some members of the Cullen family.
One of the pictures sees Dakota Fanning's Jane ushering the apparent Robert Pattinson's Edward and Ashley Greene's Alice into the Volturi's casa. Another photo takes a shot at three Volturi members, Michael Sheen's Aro, Jamie Campbell Bower's Caius and Cameron Bright's Alec, while the other one captures Charlie Bewley's Demetri grabbing Alice by her neck.

Online got the scoop that the fourth "Twilight" movie will happen right after the third film of the series. 22-year-old Greene said in her own word, "We're going to start right after Eclipse."

In the interview which reportedly took place at two different occasions, the actors who act as members of the Cullen family in the film, Peter Facinelli, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Elizabeth Reaser, sat down to talk about their experiences during the filming.
Discussing about what they have to go through for their portrayal of the vampire family, Facinelli recalled, "We did, like, a week of testing all the different kinds of makeup. The makeup team was phenomenal, and the actors were very patient...The makeup was part of the transformation. For me, it was 'blond in a bottle.' That took a good day at the salon." He then added, "...some of us had to go back to the salon more than others."
